Mission

Mission is an exciting and key part of our fellowship and a large proportion of all regular giving is used to support missions both in the UK and abroad. We support a number of churches, students and other organisations across the world, from Africa to Malaysia, and regularly send teams to Spain and Romania to assist our link churches and organisations there. Twice a year we are involved in collecting harvest and Christmas boxes to send to Eastern Europe, and many of our congregation are regularly involved with sponsoring children through 'Calikids' who work with street children in Columbia..

On a local basis we are involved in many activities ranging from toddler groups to an OAP’s lunch club. We are also part of the local Thornbury Churches Together group and participate in various community outreach ventures alongside our neighbouring churches. We have close links with the local schools and prisons and are currently working towards extending this further.
